We check who really sent it, where each link really goes, how old each website is and what the message asks you to do. AI weighs the evidence. For a doubtful link, we look at the page itself from a sealed-off browser.
You get a reply in about a minute. It tells you whether it's a scam, genuine or marketing, explains why, and gives you one or two habits that would catch the next one.
Many scams end with the person sending the money themselves. Guardian will watch for the payments scammers ask for and tell someone you trust.

With your consent, Guardian will watch one bank account for a large first payment to a new account, money sent to a crypto exchange or a gift-card seller, a transfer overseas, or payments that keep getting bigger over a few days.

Guardian will connect through the Consumer Data Right, Australia's official open banking system. You choose the account and how long to share it, and you can stop sharing at any time. Sixth will see your payments but will never be able to make, approve or move money.

Tested before it answers you
Before every change, we test Scam Check on a set of real emails. Each one was read and marked scam, genuine or marketing before the test. The set includes scams collected by security researchers, scams sent to our own team, and genuine bills, bank notices and account emails. In our latest test (October 2026):
People have sent us 19 messages to check since 7 October 2026. Scam Check can still be wrong. Every reply says so and asks you to tell us when it is, and those corrections become part of the next test.
